Young rower Cris Nievarez is ready pull through for the Philippine flag Friday morning, as his events starts ahead of the Olympic opening ceremony. Nievarez is the first Filipino in 20 years to qualify for an Olympic spot in the sport of rowing. And while he is up against bigger and more experienced rowers, he is unbowed as he is buoyed by the support of his kababayans.
